Twitch Gets $20M For Video Game Content
San Francisco-based Twitch, which develops an online video platform aimed at video gamers, has raised $20M in a Series C funding round. The funding came from Thrive Capital, and also included WestSummit Capital and Take-Two Interactive Software, along with Alsop Louie Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners. Twitch said it will use the funding for scaling sales and infrastructure.
