Listia Lands $9M For Bartering, Auction Site
Sunnyvale-based Listia, an online site which lets users sell off items they don't want for online credit--which can be redeemed for other merchandise or rewards--has raised $9M in a funding round. The funding came from General Catalyst. The company lets users sell off the stuff they no longer want, in exchange for credits usable for rewards and bidding on products being sold by other users.
