Garantia Data Finds $9M For NoSQL Software

said this morning that it has raised $9M in a Series A funding round, to go towards the company's NoSQL database software. The funding was led by Bain Capital Ventures and Carmel Ventures. The startup develops NoSQL software which runs on public clouds such as Amazon Web Services and Windows Azure. The company has now raised $13M in funding. Bain Capital's involvement came via Salil Deshpande; Carmel Ventures' Ronen Nir also joins the company's board.
