MarkLogic Lands $25M For NoSQL
San Carlos-based MarkLogic, a developer of enterprise, NoSQL database software, announced this morning that it has raised $25M in a new funding round. The firm said the round was led by Sequoia Capital and Tenaya Capital, and also included Northgate Capital. The firm said the funding will go towards go-to-market. MarkLogic's software is used for storing and searching unstructure data. The company is led by former Oracle exec Gary Bloom.
