Critical Path Acquired By Openwave Messaging
San Mateo-based Critical Path, the developer of email communications, email security, and other related services, has been acquired by Openwave Messaging, the companies said Wednesday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Openwave Messaging is owned by Marlin Equity Partners. According to Openwave Messaging, it will use the buy to expand its user base, global presence, and partner network.
