Soundhawk Picks Up $5.7M For Better Hearing Devices
San Francisco-based SoundHawk, which develops "smart" wireless hearing devices which connect hearing aids with a smartphone, has raised $5.7M in a funding round, the company announced Wednesday. The funding was led by True Ventures. The company, which is led by Michael Kisch, said its product blend "hearing science" and consumer technology to allow users of the company's hearing devices to tailor their hearing to their environment and unique hearing profile. The company was founded by Dr. Rodney Perkins, the founder of the California Ear Institute at Stanford.
