Google Buys Spider.io
Mountain View-based Google has acquired UK-based Spider.io, a developer of tools to detect click fraud and malware embedded in online ads. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Spider.io develops web security tools that helps detect both click fraud and malware which has been placed in online advertising.
