VSCO Sees $40M For Photo Editing Tools
Emeryville-based VSCO, a developer of photo editing tools, said today that it has raised $40M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from Accel Partners, and also included Goldcrest Investments. VSCO develops a range of photo editing software--which work on everything from iPhone and Android to Photoshop and Lightroom. The company said the funding will go towards product development, international infrastructure, and a scholarship fund the company runs for artists.
