Homejoy Buys Get Maid
San Francisco-based home cleaning service Homejoy has acquired New York-based home cleaning service Get Maid, the company said Wednesday, and hired on Get Maid Co-founders Steven Gutentag and Demetri Karagas. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Both companies offering home cleaning via smartphone. Homejoy is venture backed by Andreessen Horowitz, First Round Capital, Google Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, as well as others.
