Pathjoy, the Y-Combinator startup which connects people with home cleaners ala
Uber, disclosed today that it has raised $1.7m in a seed funding round. The round came from
Andreessen Horowitz,
First Round Capital, Resolute.VC,
Max Levchin,
Paul Buchheit,
Bobby Yazdani, and
Pejman Nozad. Pathjoy lets users easily book a house cleaning, via an online appointment interface, and takes care of background checks and vetting cleaners. The firm also said it is renaming itself
Homejoy.
