MapR Finds $110M From Google Capital, Others
San Jose-based MapR, the developer of the open source Hadoop software--which is widely used in big data and data mining projects--has raised a huge, $110M funding round from Google Capital and others. MapR said the round was led by Google Capital, and also included Qualcomm Ventures,Lightspeed Venture Partners, Mayfield Fund, NEA and Redpoint Ventures.
