San Jose-based
MapR, the developer of big data software, said today that it has raised $56M more in a new funding round, led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. The new funding comes as MapR eyes an IPO. MapR's other investors include Future Fund, Google Capital, Mayfield Fund, New Enterprise Associates, Qualcomm Ventures, and Redpoint Ventures.
