Twitter Buys TapCommerce
San Francisco-based Twitter said this afternoon that it has acquired TapCommerce, a developer of mobile ad retargeting technology. Financial terms of the deal were not announced, however, reports place the price tag at around $100M. Twitter said the move will help it offer mobile app marketers more robust capabilities for app re-engagement, tools and managed service solutions. TapCommerce was based in New York.
