OpenEd, which maintains an online catalog of educational videos, games, and other tools for K-12 teachers and parents, has raised $2M in a seed funding from PivotNorth Capital. The company said the funding valued the company at $10M. OpenEd's catalog includes free videos, games, assessment tools, and other resources for Common Core, the educational standards initiative which is being adopted broadly across the United States.
