EmpoweredU Acquired By Qualcomm
San Francisco-based EmpoweredU, the developer of mobile learning software led by Steve Poizner, has been acquired by mobile technology giant Qualcomm, the companies have announced this morning. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. EmpoweredU develops mobile tools which allow students to study and access course materials on their smartphones and tablets 24/7.
