Splice Machine Snags $3M
San Francisco-based Splice Machine, which develops a Hadoop-based, real time database system (RDBMS), said it has added $3M as part of an extension to its Series B funding. THe funding came from Correlation Ventures, along with Roger J. Sippl and Roger Bamford. The company said the funding goes towards sales and marketing. The company says the Series B now stands at $18M. The earlier portion of the round came from Interwest Partners and Mohr Davidow Ventures (MDV). Splice Machine is led by Monte Zweben.
