Platform9 Finds Funding For Private Clouds
Sunnyvale-based Platform9, which develops software tools for managing and creating private clouds, has raised a Series A funding, the company said today. Size of the funding was not announced. The Series A came from Redpoint Ventures. The company's founders are from VMware, and the platform is based on OpenStack.
