Xamarin Snags $54M More
San Francisco-based Xamarin, a developer of software tools which allow users to cross develop applications on C# across different platforms, has raised $54M in a funding round. The funding came from Ignition Partners, Lead Edge Capital, Insight Venture Partners, Floodgate, and Charles River Ventures. The new funding brings the company's total raised to $82.25M. Xamarin's tools port C# code to iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows.
