Jaunt Captures $27.8M For Cinematic VR
Palo Alto-based Jaunt, which is developing hardware and software aimed at cinematic virtual reality, has raised $27.8M in a funding round, the company said Thursday. The Series B funding was led by Highland Capital Partners, and also included Google Ventures, along with Redpoint Ventures, British Sky Broadcasting (Sky), Peter Gotcher, and Blake Krikorian. highland's Alex Taussig joins the company's board with the funding. Jaunt said it has now raised $34M in funding.
