San Francisco-based
Gametime, a developer of mobile services to give consumers last minute access to sporting events, has raised $4M in a financing round. The company said the funding came from Accel Partners, along with Jeff Mallett (San Francisco Giants); Vivek Ranadive (Tibco, Sacramento Kings); Sam SHank (HotelTonight), Jared Simon (HotelTonight), Aaron Levie (Box), and Colin Evans (StubHub). The company says fans can currently get access to MLB, NFL, NCAA, NBA, NHL and MLS games via its iPhone and Android apps.
