NexSteppe Harvests $22M For Renewable Energy Seeds

NexSteppe
, a developer of seeds specifically optimized for renewable energy production, said Tuesday that it has raised $22M in a third round of funding. The funding came from Total Energy Ventures and ELFH Holding GmbH, along with Braemar Energy Ventures, CYM Ventures, DuPont Ventures and others. NexSteppe is led by Anna Rath, and develops seeds specifically aimed for biofuels production.
