Renewable Ventures Raises $200M For Solar Energy Projects
San Francisco-based Renewable Ventures announced Monday that it has closed on a $200M fund, Solar Fund V, to finance new solar energy projects in the United States. The firm, which is owned by Fotowatio, said the funding includes debt from John Hancock, and equity from Renewable Ventures and Wells Fargo. The firm will invest in commercial and public, utility-scale solar projects in the US, ranging from one to 10 megawatts in size.
