Google Buys Firebase
Google has acquired San Francisco-based Firebase, a developer of real-time APIs which help developers store and synchronize data in real time. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to Firebase, its service is currently used by 110,000 developers. Firebase said it will continue to develop its services for developers, and will use the buy to "dramatically scale" the service.
