San Francisco-based
Flywheel, which develops an Uber-like mobile app targeted at helping taxi and tranportation companies compete with Uber, Lyft, Sidecar, and others, has raised $12M in a series C funding. The new funding came from TCW, RockPort Capital, and Shasta Ventures. The new funding comes as Flywheel has installed a new executive team, headed by CEO Rakesh Mathur.
