VisionCare Ophthalmic Sees New Funding
Saratoga-baesd VisionCare Opthalmic Technologies said earlier this week that it has raised a new funding round, for the company's surgical device for treating end-stage Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD). Size of the funding round was not announced, nor were investors. The company said both current and new investors participated in the venture-backed funding. The company said the funds go towards working capital, marketing, sales, and other efforts. VisionCare Opthalmic is led by Allen Hill.
