Citrix Buys Sanbolic
Santa Clara-based Citrix said this morning that it has acquired Sanbolic, a developer of storage virtualization technology. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. Sanbolic was based in Watertown, Mass. The company's software is used for software defined storage, to help distribute load and data across multiple types of storage, ranging from flash and SSD to hard drives and the cloud.
