8th Wall Finds $8M For Augmented Reality Software
Palo Alto-based 8th Wall, which develops software used to develop augmented reality applications for iOS and Android, has raised $8M ion a Series A funding. The funding was led by Norwest Venture Partners, and also included The Venture Reality Fund (The VR Fund), Shasta Ventures and Sparkland Capital. Norwest's Vab Goel has joined 8th Wall's board as a result of the funding. Erik Murphy-Chutorian is Founder and CEO of 8th Wall.
