Careerify Acquired By LinkedIn
San Francisco- and Toronto-based Careerify, a developer of a software platform that helps companies manage employee referrals and recruiting, has been acquired by LinkedIn. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Careerify said it joined LinkedIn in order to tap into the site's "massive scale". As part of the buy, Careerify said it will no longer be taking on new customers as a result of the acquisition. Careerify was founded by Harpaul Sambhi.
