LinkedIn Acquired By Microsoft For $26.2 Billion
Mountain View-based LinkedIn is being acquired by Microsoft Corp., in a deal worth $26.2 billion in cash, the two announced this morning. According to the company, Microsoft will acquired LinkedIn for $196 per share in cash. LinkedIn will continue to by run by Jeff Weiner, and the two said they expect the deal to close this calendar year.
