DroneDeploy Gets $9M
San Francisco-based DroneDeploy, a developer of cloud-based software for managing commercial drones aimed at agriculture, construction, mining, and real estate, said it has raised $9M more in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Emergence Capital, and also included prior investors SoftTech, DataCollective and Angelpad. DroneDeploy is led by Mike Winn. Emergence Capital's Kevin Spain joins the company's board with the funding.
