DroneDeploy, which is developing drones and software for the farming, construction, and surveying, said today that it has raised $2M in a seed funding round. The funding came from SoftTech VC, Data Collective, Redpoint Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, and Angelpad. The company is applying drones for high resolution crop monitoring, precision surveying, and other similar applications.
