DroneDeploy Adds $20M For Drone Mapping Tools
San Francisco-based DroneDeploy, which develops cloud-based software for drones, which are used to collect aerial imagery for the agriculture, construction, mining, inspection and surveying industries, has raised $20M in a Series B funding. The funding was led by Scale Venture Partners and also included High Alpha Capital. Scale's Rory O'Driscoll joins the board as part of the funding. DroneDeploy, led by Mike Winn, says it has now raised a total of $31M.
