Akanda, a startup developing open source, network virtualization software aimed at the OpenStack market, has scored a seed fundign round, according to the company. Size of the round was not announced. The funding was led by New Dream Network (Dreamhost), The Fabric, Double M Partners, Rincon Venture Partners, Simon Anderson (CEO of Dreamhost), and Matt Ocko. Akanda is led by Henrik Rosendahl.
