Mirantis Gets $100M From Intel, Others
Mountain View-based OpenStack software developer Mirantis> has raised $100M in new funding, led by Intel, to bolster its OpenStack distribution. The funding also included Goldman Sachs, August Capital, Insight Venture Partners, Ericsson, Sapphire Ventures (formerly SAP Ventures) and WestSummit Capital. Mirantis develops its own distribution of the OpenStack, cloud computing software platform. The company has now raised over $220M in funding.
