Apigee saw a big pop in its IPO this morning, after pricing at $17.00 per share last night. The company traded as high as $20.00 in opening this morning on the NASDAQ Global Market, with its debut as APIC, and was trading around $18.00 mid morning. Apigee, which develops API management software and services for companies, had originally set an offering range of between $16.00 and $18.00 per share. The offering raised $87M for the company. Apigee is venture backed by Norwest Venture Partners, Bay Partners, Third Point, Wellington Management, and others.
