Nanosys, a developer of color display technology, said Monday that it has raised an investment from Samsung Venture Investment Corporation (SVIC), the investment arm of Samsung Group. Size of the investment was not disclosed. According to Nanosys, the funding goes towards expansion of its production capacity. Nanosys is led by Jason Hartlove. The company said the round is the second from Samsung, which also invested in the company in an earlier, 2010 investment round.
