8x8 Buys Quality Software Corporation
San Jose-based 8x8, which provides cloud-based, unified communications and call center software, has acquired Quality Software Corporation (QSC), a provider of contact center management and analytics software. 8xsaid it paid $3M in cash plus $1.3M in stock compensation for QSC. QSC was based in Delray Beach, Florida, with a development center in Romania. 8x8 said it would incrate QSC's software into a new product by the end of 2015.
