Doctor On Demand, which provides access to doctor's via PCs, smartphones, and tablets, said this week that it has raised $50M in a Series B funding. The funding was led by Tenaya Capital, and also included Qualcomm Ventures, Dignity Health, Anne Wojcicki, as well as Venrock, Shasta Ventures, and Sir Richard Branson. Doctor On Demand offers up its services to both individual consumers, as well as to corporations, who are using the service to reduce healthcare costs.
