Doppler Labs Gets $17M For Connected Earbuds
Doppler Labs, a developer of smartphone connected, "smart" earbuds which can be used to adjust what a user is hearing live, has raised $17M in a Series B funding. The company--which has offices in San Francisco--said the funding came from The Chernin Group, David Bonderman's Wildcat Capital Management and Acequia Capital, and Live Nation Entertainment, Universal Music Group and WME. The company's corporate HQ is in New York City.
