BitFury Scores $20M For Bitcoin Technology
San Francisco-based BitFury Group, a provider of secure, Bitcoin Blockchain infrastructure, has raised $20M in a funding round. The funding came from DRW Venture Capital, iTech Capital and Georgian Co-Investment Fund. BitFury is led by Valery Vavilov, and develops technology for Bitcoin transaction processing, saying it uses custom-made application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) for Blockchain mining and other efforts.
