BitAngels, a new, multi-city angel network focused on Bitcoin startups launched today, saying that it has raised $6.7M to invest in Bitcoin startups, and also established an incubator in San Francisco. The angel investment group said it will focus solely on early-stage Bitcoin and cryptocurrency startups, and has opened up incubation locations in Austin, San Francisco, and New York. The group says it has over 60 angels supporting its effort. BitAngels was co-founded by David A. Johnston, Michael Terpin and Sam Onat Yilzman.
