Light Lands $25M For Photo Technology
Palo Alto-based Light, which is developing image processing ASIC technology to improve the capture of photos and digital cameras, has raised $25M in a Series B funding. The funding came from Formation 8 and its Hardware Fund, as well as its prior investors. Light--which has yet to launch its product intot he market--said it will use the funding both for its hardware as well as to hire more people to its team. Light is led by Dave Grannan.
