Pericom Semiconductor Acquired For $400M
Milpitas-based clock and timing IC maker Pericom Semiconductor Corporation has been acquired by Diodes Incorporated, the two said this morning. Diodes says it is paying $400M in an all cash transaction for Pericom, which is publicly traded. Diodes said it will pay $17.00 in cash for each share of Pericom, which is a 40 percent premium to the stock's closing price on Wednesday.
