Primus Power Picks Up $25M For Energy Storage Technology
Hayward, California-based Primus Power, a developer of grid-scale, battery-based energy storage products, has raised $25M in a Series D funding round. The funding was led by I2BF Global Ventures, and also included the Russia-Kazakhstan Nanotechnology Fund (RKNF), along with Anglo American Platinum, Chrysalix Energy Venture Capital and DBL Partners also participated. Primus Power developed battery-based energy storage products that use zinc bromide chemistry. The company is led by Tom Stepien.
