Phantom Cyber Raises $6.5M For Security Automation
Palo Alto-based Phantom Cyber, a developer of cybersecurity automation tools, said this morning that it has raised $6.5M in a funding round. The funding came from TechOperators and Blackstone, and also included angels Zach Nelson (netSuite), John Thompson (Virtual Instruments, Symantec), and Rein Capital. TechOperators' Thomas E. Noonan joins the company's board. Phantom Cyber said it is developing security automation and orchestration software helping companies to deal with the scarcity of IT security talent. The startup is led by Oliver Friedrichs.
