Bidgely Finds $16.6M For Home Energy Management Device
Sunnyvale-based Bidgely, the developer of the HomeBeat home energy management gadget, has raised $16.6M in a Series B funding round. The company aid the funding was led by Constellation Technology Ventures, the venture capital arm of Exelon Corporation, as well as E.ON and RWE, along with Khosla Ventures. Bidgely makes the HomeBeat Energy Monitor, a gadget which helps users monitor their energy usage in real time; the gadget connects to utility demand response programs to help those utilities with reducing demand during times of high usage. Bidgely is led by Abhay Gupta.
