San Francisco-based
Verge Genomics, which is using genomics data to accelerate development of drugs to treat neurodegenerative disease, has raised $4M in a seed funding, the company said Tuesday. The funding was led by IA Ventures, and also included Two Sigma Ventures, Draper Associates, Great Oaks VC, Slow Ventures, Karlin Venture, Elad Gil and David Lee. Verge Genomics was part of YCombinator. The company said it is targeting neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's Disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), and Parkinson's Disease,
