San Jose-based Boviet Solar USA, a solar cell manufacturer which has its operations in Vietnam, said this morning that its parent company, Powerway Group Co., has acquired German manufacturing company Berkenhoff GmbH. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. The company said Bernkenhoff GmbH, which is 125 years old, is a high-tech precision wire manufacturer, with over $100M in sales last year.
