Trimble Buys AGRI-TREND
Sunnyvale-based Trimble announced this morning that it is acquiring Canadian company AGRI-TREND, which operates a network of independent agricultural consultants in North America. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Trimble said the buy will help bolster its tools it offers to agronomists and crop advisors, which they can use to advise growers on how to better manage their operations. AGRI-TREND was based in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada.
