Blue River Technology Picks Up $17M For Farm Robots

, a company which is developing agricultural robots that use machine learning, computer vision, and other robotics technology in farming, has raised $17M in a Series B funding the company said today. The funding was led by Pontifax Global Food and Agriculture Technology Fund, and also included Syngenta Ventures and Monsanto Growth Ventures. Blue River was founded by Jorge Heraud and Lee Redden, who were at Stanford GSB when they founded the company.
